I’m going to sell water bottles and stuff at the high school graduation next week because I have a HS junior (the one you went to the baby shower for about 15 minutes ago). So I can be near the event and figure it out. Next year I have a high school graduation and the twins 8th grade graduation. Omg.
SUhweet! I think moms should just get up on the dais and tell it like it REALLY is, not quote Oh the places you'll go! BC They'll be going strong for a few months, then need a triple dose of REALITY! ANd mom's have got the corner on THAT! GOOOO TEAM WALSH!!!
Amazing and heartfelt. I feel your joys and not so joyous moments. You are never alone in this role of being a mom. My kids are 48 and 44, and they are right there in my thoughts, dreams, hopes, and coulda, woulda, shouldas! 🥰🥳😘💜
I am so glad we are doing the walk together. Often we only hear about the PERFECTION and the NEW JOB and the cum laude, and - and - and - I love all of that - BUT also, I lean in when I hear a difficult lesson someone has learned. A reparation that has been made in the relationship. It gives me some hope.
Deep breaths. There’s something to be said for time alone, with your mind free to wander, and flit from one frivolous thing to another. That “hard to do stuff” will wait for another moment. 😘💜
