Bubble Wrap
Our souls don’t have pockets. In fact, I don’t actually believe that our souls are inside of us. I believe our souls encase the outside of our bodies like invisible bubble wrap: a dual power field of integration and protection. How else does one explain Spidey Senses, or tingles of affirmation?
I, for one, don't believe God sent us down the Heavenly water slide without any sort of armor yelling, “GOOD LUCK!” Because even if we had no idea of what we were saying yes to the Down Here, She did. The angels and all of our healed Ancestors bubble wrapped us up snug as a bug - essence, intuition, unconditional love - And here we are!
Our souls don’t have pockets, rather I think they have shape shifting abilities: like when we bump into another kindred we feel immediately at home. Or in the opposite fashion, when we encounter a person that grinds against our soul sauce, triggering our bubble wrap to pop. Take heart, #45 has just forgotten that he too, has a bubble wrapped soul. I am not strong enough to pray for him yet. Obviously Sainthood is out this time around.
